Most people in our community face rejection on a daily basis.

The gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered people are not the most loved people in the world. If anything, we are the most hated. The media makes fun of us. We have to listen to gay jokes. We are sexually harassed in the workplace. We are called faggots and queers. Some of us have had to dropout of high school due to harassment. Teenagers have run away or have been kicked out of their homes. We have been targets of police brutality. In some countries we can be legally murdered. Many churches reject us and ridicule us. Some churches even say that God hates us.

Because of all of these things, it is not surprising that most people in our community will not even step into a church. We have been rejected and hurt so many times that we can’t bear to think that even our God would turn away from us. Well, I can tell you that He has not turned away from you. Psalm 27:10 tells us, “When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take care of me.” This is a promise to you that God will not turn away from you. Take a few minutes to focus on Him, and you will see that He is right there with you. We at Cornerstone Fellowship want you to experience the presence and the love of our Lord Jesus Christ. We are available to pray for you.
